CHARLES WILLIAMS
DC City Director
Charles was originally born in Queens, NY, but raised in Charleston, SC. In 2009, he first arrived to Washington, D.C. to attend Howard University where he studied psychology and education. After leaving for graduate school, Charles returned to D.C . where he began his call into ministry with National Community Church. Not only did he get to meet his now wife, Sarah, on the worship team there, he cultivated a strong small group system and discipleship culture for the Lincoln Theater campus/community. In addition to his fun-loving spirit, he brings a passion for our city, a deep love for the Lord, and a commitment to disciple-making into this role.
WILL HAWKINS

Will is passionate about seeing young people meet and come to the full knowledge of Christ. He's been mentoring and ministering to teens for the last ten years since graduating from Liberty University. He's a major sports fan, music lover, and plays lead guitar at his church. He's excited to serve with the dynamic leaders of Young Life and to see the glory of God revealed in the lives of the next generation in our city!
